July 2nd, Play, Baby, Play!

After yesterday's excitement and resulting 3 hour nap, I play Sam pretty hard today. We started with a walk with our best friends. We ended at the park and played for a little while until our friends were ready to come swimming with us. Then we swam at Tami's pool, which is perfect for toddlers with it's 1.5 ft end. Sam was a little timid...walking in waist deep water will cause you to fall if you upper body doesn't slow down to the reduced speed of your lower body (bouyancy...gotta love it). I couldn't let go of him in the pool, so no movies or pictures from there, but Sam did accomplish another first at the park today...



Did my efforts pay off? Well, it's only one hour into nap, but Sam was so tired. He sat, yes he sat! and watched Seasame Street before he conked out :P
