Today is our 3rd anniversary, so since these are the only pictures of Adam and me from our trip, I thought I'd skip ahead from 9am Saturday to 10am Sunday...hope you don't mind!
The river hike was last on our list. Nearing lunch time (10am), we loaded up our picnic supplies, along with swimming gear, photography gear including the tripod into our backpack, put Sam in the baby backpack and set out for our last hour hike which would bring us to a waterfall! We set out, strolled down the paved path, climbed down and around some large rocks and ended (???) at a small waterfall and rock beach. Apparently we were supposed to take the road to the nearby campground and not the path marked TRAIL...
By this point, we were kind of tired. The shaded inch deep rock-lined pool of water looked like it'd entertain Sam. The waterfall was pretty enough to entertain me. And Adam, well, he was just glad to eat lunch and also glad that we didn't have to walk anymore!
