Jan 5th, Hanging with My Ladies...

We arrived back to Jan's with minutes to spare...we had a date with our Maxxam girls at Starbucks and we did not want to be late. These are ladies whom I met at a former job and I've got to say that they are the nicest group of women I've ever been privaleged to call friend.

Okay, maybe we could spare 10 seconds for a photo ?!?


Here's Jan + baby, Shawna, Eric (Who is a champ! He sat with us for almost 3 hrs and did not complain once!!! Every time Shawna speaks with him, I find that I take mental notes...she has raised him so very well.) and Natalie + baby...

The boys played together VERY well...they played farm and chase mostly...chase was fun to watch!


Soooo, we couldn't get together and NOT have a photoshoot...I just wish that Nathan and Samuel would have read that memo...they just wanted to play!


I'm not sure why I thought it was a good idea, but we took their shirts off. I guess that I was hoping for that magical infant/toddler moment between them...instead they just got fussier because they were cold!


Since the photoshoot of the boys was not working, we tried one where we had slightly more control...I wish we could have controlled the lighting more (nothing, not even my new flash, beats natural light!)

I just love this sequence...Nathan was laughing almost the whole time! You can really tell that he loves playing with his parents!!! (What you don't see is Shawn standing behind me entertaining Nathan as well :) )






Shawn gave the boys a bath (thanks again!) and Nathan showed Samuel his swimming techniques...they played until the water was cold!





Our clean, fresh boys had a nice quiet play with shapes...

Sonja and the new baby (I hear he or she is the size of a plum) came over for the evening. We were all tired (them due to their pregnancies and me due to, well, you see the pictures...) but we still had a good visit :)
