Happy New Year!!!

Adam and I celebrated the end of 2007 on a date! Thanks to my Dad, we enjoyed a lovely dinner at the Diplomat. Thanks to my Mom, we enjoyed a great movie at the theatre. Thanks to Michelle, we enjoyed the afore mentioned activities without Samuel :) Thanks to God, we enjoyed a safe ride home...

After graciously getting up with Sammy at six o'clock, Adam agreed to keep Sam while I went on a photo drive at sunrise...fortunately for me, the sun rises around 8:30am...what a fantastic way to start a new year! I was pretty much the only one of the road and with the new snow on the river the world seemed so peaceful! I drove down the old TCH towards Maugerville to find see what I could see...

Today, we visited Connie, Dallas and Matthew. We drove up the old Lincoln road, a road I drove hundreds of times on the way to university over my six years there, and today I finally captured a photo of this jem...

This one reflects my fondness for this spot, one that inspired many daydreams on the way to and from the chemistry lab...

While this photo gives a sense of the icy waters below...

The boys had another good play with (around) each other and Matthew shared a snack with Sam...
