I felt the need to qualify the title, because it just seemed too final and, trust me, God willing, we'll be back!
After Adam had time to sleep in, I (tried to) cooly grab my camera (I don't think he was even up all of the stairs!) and race off into the (FRIGID!) sunrise (did I mention that at that point it was like - 20 C!!!)...
With a 'busy' weekend ahead of us, we set off for Halifax. With Adam driving and Sam doing what Sam does best on a long drive, I was free to snap away...keep in mind that these were taken from a moving vehicle...
We visited Robert and Sarah. It seemed like yesterday that we stayed the night there...our last night as Haligonians back in December '06...
Robbie and Taya (and Shooter) put us up for the night in their new house (!)...it's VERY nice, but the thing that I liked the best was that homey feeling as soon as you walk through the door...
Sam liked Shooter's bed the best :)
