Jan 18th, Samuel Says...

I've been meaning to 'color' (write down) all of 'Ham's' words and 'noises' (sounds) since we've gotten back from 'Canana'...but there's just too many to list. So, here's a snap shot of what you could expect to hear Samuel say on a daily basis...there is also a plethora of 'animals' and 'toys' and house hold items and (don't forget) 'friends' and family that Sam knows, but those will have to wait for another post :)

Not only does Sam love getting the 'mail,' but his especially loves when we get to 'open the box' although the whole time Momma is doing it, Sam's asking for 'help. help, Momma.' Today we got 'two boxes,' one from 'Nannie' ('thank you, Nannie') and one from Amazon.com. Sam enjoyed 'three' 'fruit bars' and then played with the 'box'...he may have wanted to be shipped back to 'Nannie' and 'Grampy.'


Sammy still LOVES 'the moon!' It instantly makes him 'happy.'


Man, this kid is FUN! Sam will take my hand and say 'come on Momma,' lead me to the his room and say 'go in dark' or 'hide in dark' and we'll crawl under his crib and hang out. He also likes to play hide, but we usually play with Dadda in the evenings and its a 3 player game (Dadda hides, Momma finds and Sam runs back and forth while I pretend to look...or vise versa),


Sometimes, Dadda takes advantage of the 'dark'...


Every chance he gets (really anytime he thinks of it), Sam likes to crawl up on our bed and lay his head on a 'pillow' to 'sleep.'


Sam loves to listen for 'birds,' 'airplanes,' and 'fire trucks.' Along this stretch of walkway, Sammy likes to watch for the 'bus' and for 'big trucks'...


'Sticks' are Sam's favorite outdoor toy. With a 'stick,' Sam can 'sweep,' 'stir,' or just wave it around in the air...


Samuel loves wearing his 'glasses' (unfortunately, he broke them, but fortunately, he has 3 other pairs)...


Sam LOVES to 'walk.' He asks for his 'jacket' then tries to put it on himself (he's not quite there yet) and brings me his 'shoes,' 'two shoes' and sits on my lap while I 'help' him. Then he tries to unlock the deadbolt, then Mommy 'helps' and we go 'out.'


So, we have a tree stump that I'm obsessed with sitting Sam on for a photo (I know, shocking!!!, me obsessed :) ), I thought that if I gave him the phone, he might sit still...well, it did keep his face still :)


Sam LOVES his new bath towel from Nana MacNutt...he likes to 'hide'...



I asked Sam to go and sit 'there' and show Momma 'happy'...


And Samuel still loves peek-a-boo and anything displaying the Maple Leaf...
