Jan 27th, Sam's a Busy Boy!

We've had a busy week! Samuel is busier every day it seems. This week we went out every morning and 3 afternoons and I've just been having so much fun playing with him that I haven't been taking many photos.

Samuel's love of animals developped to another level when we were home, with so many cats and Robbie's puppy around. Yesterday, he asked for Robbie and puppy then would shake his head and say gone.

Reading a zoo book the other day, Sam surprised me by pointing out the 'lamma' and the 'goat'...I had no idea that he knew these animals since Adam and I had never emphasized them...he just picked it up himself!

So his list of animals he recognizes then names looks like this:
Lamma, goat, sheep, horse, cow, dog, puppy, cat, kitty, bird, chicken, duck, emu, dingo dog (Aunt Jessie brought Sam a book back from Austrailia), snake, turtle, bear, panda, rhino, zebra, hippo, tiger...there's more but I can't think of them right now! He doesn't say the name, but he makes the noise for elephant and lion and duck...
