Sam had a rough wake up, so we went outside to look for some bugs. The more he talked about what we were looking for, the more defined Sam's idea became. By the time we stepped outside, we were looking for a red bug with two eyes and wings that crawls on the ground and eats flowers...
We looked and looked, and came up empty...the ground is so extremely hard and dry...I can't imagine it's permeable to any living thing!
Our search ended successfully...
And we started a game of Eye Spy...sort of :)

It even looks a little chilly there with the wind...
Keep looking for the red bug, I'm sure there is one there somewhere...
