Sam's a big boy now, in many respects! He can climb this big ladder all by himself, but he's cautious enough to ask for someone to stand by him as he clmibs up (I don't know where the caution comes from, but I'm thankful for it! It's bad enough having such a thrill seeking husband!)
I forgot how blue the sky gets!
Sam is really into a series of books that Michelle and Brendan gave him last year for Christmas...he's being Jay Jay here...
IT's so crazy dry here that we're drinking about twice what we drank in NB! The wind doesn't help...the Santa Anna's are blowing (a warm air system that comes up the coast from the south) so it's crazy windy and about 85 F (30 C). We were the only ones out at this park...most cultures (Chinese and Mexican anyway) believe that kids can catch a fever from the wind.
Sam loves flying like Jay Jay!
He wanted a try in the baby swing...something that he hasn't wanted in months!

Sam just wandered around contently for a while...
Daddy tried to induce some tree climbing, no worries Nannie and Nana, there's been no talk about tree jumping or tree elevatoring...
Sam discovered a "chair" that had some "chocolate" (fine dirt) in it...
Sam actually requested that I take these ones!
