My Dad and Adam's Dad greeted us at the airport. We'd had a relatively good flight, although, Sam only slept 1.5 hrs of the overnight flight and then fell asleep during the decent of the last leg of the trip. We were just so thrilled to be home!
We had a quick lunch and Cathy (aka Nannie) came for a visit. She got the warmest reception of anyone and was the only one that Sam inquired of at the airport!
When our fatique won over our eagerness to visit, we napped, knowing that two VERY important guests were coming for supper!
Brendan and Michelle came for dinner. It's always an adventure when the boys get together! Sam's Pooh Bear train was the hot item of the evening...I think that if they had more time together, Sam and Brendan would play well enough, considering the age difference. Both are headstrong and enjoy playing with kids of equal spirit.
The next day, I don't think I took any pictures, but Adam watched Sam and Brendan while Mom, Michelle and I had a girls night out to see "Twilight." Poor Adam had a rough time, since both boys were used to having his undivided attention before 'the other one' came along, but he was glad that I could have such a nice time with the two women I miss the most. Oh, there's the tears! That's why I was putting off posting :) I'll see if I have the emotional steel to post again later today, but don't hold your breathe :P
