We hit Highland with Katie, Xander and Zach today. Christie and Simon joined us after they ran errands. I took portraits of Xander and Zach, and finished up this round of Simon's photos. In an hour, I'm heading out again for more photos...could this day get any better?!?
So, I think that throwing sand is going to be the biggest issue to overcome with Sam. He threw a bunch at Nikki yesterday at Cathy's house, got time out, threw more, got banned from the sandbox by me, played elsewhere until his playmates got into the sandbox, entered the sandbox (I watched but he was playing so good that I didn't really mind), played well, got a bucket of sand poured over his head, left the sandbox and got cleaned up, got back in to the sandbox, splashed sand on Xander, got time out and banned for good this time...
Today, the older boys had fun throwing sand on each other...laughing and such...getting lots of time outs...only to do it again...so frustrating! BUT is was so nice to have someone who could and would give it as well as take it :) In the end of all their horseplay, they were laughing in the truck on the way home and asking each other to their house, so no hard feelings ;)

That's the great thing about being a child--no hard feelings, just move on to something more fun! The boys look like they had a lot of fun. What? No eating sand? ha ha Mom

Ha, Ha!!! Ouch! I didn't know that my early dietary habits were so well know :) Thanks for the laugh, although Adam laughed harder than I did!
