I *finally* finished two beautiful pink baby sweaters that my Grammie had started back when we were knitting together every Sunday afternoon at her house...good memories! She had finished about 98% of one sweater and 93% of the other...so now my future daughters and granddaughters (strange thought!) will have sweaters knit by their great(great) Grammie!
After being cooped up for 3 days with sicknesses, we needed something exciting to occupy our time until Daddy came home...so...
Sam getting hydrated before we start to work :)
We made bread dough...
Sam's favorite part of the bread making process is 'smucking' the dough :)
Without saying anything, Sam started making rolls...good memory!
Sam's rolls...
Now, for dessert! Can you guess what it is???
Here's our bread and rolls...
And since the oven was on anyway, *we* cooked a roast of beef and roast veggies...and we needed a mushroom and onion gravvy...
Any more guesses on what sweet treat we'll enjoy?
Did you guess chocolate cake? (which, sadly, Sam didn't get ANY of because he didn't eat his supper)
I needed a challenge this week, so I attempted the following project...
It was definately a challenge! But now that I know what the pieces look like, I think I can follow patterns for stuffies more readily :)
I should have paid attention to the final measurements! Its about 4 times larger than I wanted...
Now, I'm knitting part of Sam's halloween costume...you'll have to stay tuned to see what it is!

Great job on the elephant! I love it!
good job making rolls Sam. I like to watch the yeast rise, too. That's one big, cute elephant! Mom

Don't really know if it true what they say about elephants, but it sure is for Samuel...LOL

Beautiful sweaters, Erin! Your grammie would love that you finished them!
And I love the elephant too!
