October 10th, Funny faces of Samuel Edward Hedley Dyker

Sam and Adam were making hularious faces at supper...most weren't repeated for our benefit, but the following were pretty good :) Adam would say, "make a fish face, make a happy face, make a frustrated face, make a..." ...you get the picture...













I think Sam looks a rediculous amount like me here...


Sam fell today at the gardens...tripped over a curb in pursuit of his friend, Xander. He hit the ground so hard that his shoe fell off! The scrap that resulted was quite troubling, being that it was in plain sight (usually Sam's scraps are on his knees, and therefore easily forgotten). When we got home, we used some peroxide then water to clean out the dirt, but it was still raw when he went for his nap. One hour into his sleep, he woke up screaming...he was so sweaty and was crying so hard...he was wiping his forehead with the back of his hand...exactly where his scrape was :(

All day, Adam and I were asked by Sam to "kiss my scape all better faster!" or "kiss it all gone now." I'm glad to report that today, the scape is feeling much better...wearing long sleeve shirts only has helped ;()
