August 31st, John and Ellen's Wedding!

I can't believe its been so long since that wonderful weekend! I'm sorry, Beth, that it's taken so long to get your son and daughter-in-law's pictures up! (PS-I'm going to send Ellen a cd in the mail...if you want one too, can you email me or Adam your address?)

Few places in the world are as nice as St. Andrews, NB in the late summer, but embarassingly enough, this was only the second time I've been there! I'm not sure what to say about this wonderful wedding day, so I'll largely let the photos do the talking...

The Algonquin...

The reception venue...

Out a window...

Inside the reception hall (Krista and I helped set up, so I had ample oppratunity to take photos after)...

The cake table (every detail of the day was filled with personal touches!)...

The guestbook table...

The guestbook table...

The bride's place...

The groom's place...

The groom's mom...

The groom's dad...

The reception hall...

John's mom, Beth...(her beautiful shawl was the blue of the wedding colours)

The bride's relatives (one was a reader during the ceremony)...

A groomsman / My darling hubsand...

Before the wedding, everyone assembled in the street! Gotta love small towns :) (This group of trouble makers are Adam's old friends and their wives/girlfriends)

Krusty and a female relative of Ellen's...

Beth's many magnificant quilts lined the pews of the church...

The Algonquin was the perfect setting for this perfect celebration of love!
