It's been a long day (Oct 31st and I'm wiped and the pictures uploaded in a weird order, so you'll have to try to make sense of it and be inventive with your own captions ;) )...I'll get you started :)
Sam wanted to 'carve' the pumpkin the moment we brought it home from the pumpkin patch last week...he said "I want to carve it, the pumpkin!" It caught me off guard because we hadn't discussed anything about it...I'm going to have to limit his tv exposure...
Anyway, Adam suggested that we carve the pumpkin last night. Sam was excited, albeit a little confused. He said, "I want to carve pumpkin like an apple..." at which point, he tried to bite his way through the tough exterior.
When Adam pulled the large knife out, Sam started...well, you'll see...

I thought he was guarding his pumpking at one pont so it wouldn't get cut--that didn't last long--it reminds me of you three carving in the backyrd at the picnic table...you did a great job, Adam! Mom and Wayne
