July 12th, We're Going to the Zoo, zoo, zoo. How about you, you, you???

Sorry for the Raffi inspired title...it's the song we used to get Sam pumped to see some large animals :)

We went to the San Diego Wild Animal Park with Katie, Chad, Xander and Zach. The boys had a lot of fun with each other and enjoyed watching the animals a bit...I have a sinking sensation that they would have had just as much fun at a playground, but it was so, so nice to get out to somewhere different...plus, to have our husbands able to come was a definate bonus :)

The pics are pretty self-explanitory. The ones of the boys laughing so hard was taken during the African Safari tram ride...they didn't look much at the animals, but definately had a blast! Oh, there's a dino exhibit, where these life-sized dinosaurs move, growl and even spit! Sam was a little timid, Xander loved every moment and Zach was young enough to be oblivious to the scary atmosphere...
