May 1st, The Happiest Place on Earth :)

This was Sam's favorite ride...the white tram from the parking garage to the park :) I asked him twice later in the day which was his favorite ride/thing we did and this was it!

Yup, this is Max's hat. He and Sam switched in the parking garage. I bought Sam a hat as soon as we got thru the gate! It was fun to be 'that Mom' for a day...Sam got so much new stuff :)

This was our first ride, The Himlick Catepillar train. It drove slowly around a track and pointed different large foods that are good to eat: carrots, watermelon...cupcakes!

The waiting lines were even nice! Shaded with real or artificial trees, with interesting things for the kids to looks at, like a root system. This was the fastest ride we went on, similar to the traditional 'tea cups' at Disney land (so I hear). We went on this one twice!

Play house Disney show...Sam watches it on tv on Saturday mornings (when we're home)

We spent most of our time in "It's a Bug's Life" area, where they carter to toddlers.

The parachute ride...goes up in the air then twirls around...you can see it behind Sam in the first picture...

And now for a picnic supper while we watch the Pixar Parade. Since Sam hasn't seen any of the movies, he only recognized the first car, which coincidentally was the speical toy I'd bought earlier that day :)

The boys were quite content eating their butter peacan swirl (YES! it's as good as it sounds!) watching the 'trains' go around the tracks...

Here comes outfit #4...

At this point, Sam asked that I not take anymore photos of him.

Max literally had a pool of ice cream that collected on his shirt!

So, at the end of our exciting day, I gave Sam the choice of his 'one last thing:' one more ride or one play at a playground. He's so my kid :)

This is "The Rock Slide." Once Sam went down it thrice, I took him over the rope bridge and thru a log tunnel (that I had to crawl thru an inch behind him, with my camera bag and Nikon around my neck, oh, and the log was suppended so as we moved it rocked back and forth). When we got out of the tunnel, he says, "Oh, there's the fun area!" You guessed it! And he headed straight for the Rock Slide :)

Lots of kids were getting their pictures taken on these rock bears, so, when in Rome :) Although Max sat very well, Sam wanted to pet his bear. I only got a candid of him 'riding' the bear when he thought I wasn't looking...

As we were leaving...
