We landed back from Halifax Friday evening. Sam was extra fussy, but after 2 new houses to sleep at and 4+ hours stuck in the car and lots of excitement in between, who wouldn't be! So, I didn't think much of it...until he was up every hour of the night with a snotty nose and a fever...yuck!
With the upcoming storm...hurricane H-something, Mom asked if I wanted to be briefly woken at sunrise to see what we could get from her sunroom...of course I did! And, of course, to get the perfect pic, we had to tramp thru her dew covered field in our pj's and sandals...now you know where I get it from :) (The house pic is a glorified before picture...they are currently replacing the roof and new siding will follow once the garage is built, but doesn't it look homey!)

PS-You may remember a few posts ago, Sam sitting on a big combine (a tractor used to harvest oats, barley and wheat). Well, my Uncle Ron came for a visit, along with Aunt Elizabeth and Uncle Alan, Friday night. Ron sat across from Sam, Sam looked up and said, "Uncle Ron, are you driving your combine today?" Keep in mind that no mention of the combine or Uncle Ron had been made in about a week!

Nice sunrise. I really like the pictures, but I hope you get all of that out of your system before you get back
Love the pictures, don't forget to email your mom's new address and phone #!
