Aug 9th, Happy Happy Two Year Old Sam! (updated with more videos)

We'd asked everyone not to get Sam anything or to atleast make it small since we're counting down our time here...as the videos will show, Sam was spoiled by our friends and family...and there's more to come in the mail and when we go home! The shear volume of toys in our apartment right now is enought to send Adam and I into a headspin :) I thought I'd packed away a far amount of his toys (one full large suitcase of toys and clothes)...now I've probably gotta pack a second!

The gift bags for the older kids (above 1 year old) looked like this...with a glow braclet, stickers, dinky car, rice crispy square, brownie and 4 mini macaroons (frogs)...

The five kids under one received three finger puppets (based on a pattern for the puppy one I found on this blog:
http://chrisknitsinniagara.blogspot.com/2008/04/puppy-puppets.html )

We opened Sam's presents after 'nap' (which didn't really happen but consisted of Sam playing/crying in his crib for an hour)...it took a full hour and I filmed it in 3 mins segments (the time length max on UTube)...here's the first of many!

From Matthew, Connie and Dallas

From Emily, Calvin, Amber and Anton

From Joe and Roz (featuring Thomas)

From Cheryl, Masa and Libby

From Paula, Daphney and Lotus

From Katrina, Jake and Travis

From Katie, Xander and Zach

From Mommy and Daddy

Sam was so sweet this morning...he wanted all four of his friends to 'go with me' out of his crib...

After swimming (pool pictures I'll post tomorrow), we ate some lunch. After being so tired after last years efforts, we decided to order pizza. Then I changed my mind. It took 2.5 full days of work, but everyone enjoyed my offerings :)

Erin, those videos were so cute. I really enjoyed them! Thanks for posting. Sam is such a smart boy, I hope some of that intelligence rubs off on Max-imus ;)
