Sept. 30th, This past week...


Brendan and Sam had a sleep over on the weekend. It went surprisingly well! They helped me make waffles in the morning...


I've heard of milk mustashes, but a blueberry jam goatee...!!!

Sam is not napping much these days, so by supper he's pretty tired! Unfortunately, he gets a second wind that sails him through to 9pm most nights :)

You may remember the tramatic event of Sam's first pet, Dorothy the turtle. Well, Sam has adopted a new pet, and it's one that is perfect for our family right now (no maintanence, easily replacable, but busy enough to keep Sam entertained whenever their paths cross)...Sam's new pet...taken through a window at an angle, but you'll get the idea :)

The leaves around here are sooooo beautiful! Here's a pic showing some frost (yup, it's that chilly in the mornings!) and a tree that appeared to be on fire when I first peeked out the window this morning!
