We had the oppratunity to go to the Aquarium of the Pacific with Rachon, Max, her Mom (aka Mimi) and her youngest brother Brett (Max's favourite person and someone Sam really has fun with as well, he's a really cool guys and great with toddlers). Most pics are, as usual, self explanitory, but I will say that there were bus loads of day care kids...each set wore a different coloured shirt...there were swarms of them...crazy! At one point we were in the bathroom and there were two workers helping like 20 3-4 year olds to the bathroom...insanity! When we were in the outside play area, Sam was overwhelmed by 9 and 10 year old yellow shirts...and in typical Sam fashion, he held his ground :) I have a feeling that peer-pressure won't work on this kid!
At this aqarium there's a couple of touch tanks where the kids can touch a de-stinged sting ray...Sam didn't and he didn't want to touch this one either :)
I packed my Nikon and left it at home :( Probably a good thing because I could have spent the whole day getting awesome shots, but would lost Sam and probably drove Rachon nuts :) So, here's the best that my Canon could deliver in the low light interior of the aquarium...
Sam insisted on wearing his back pack 'with a tail,' so Max had to hold someone's hand (or be chased)...during this stretch of the aquarium, Sam decided he should hold Max's hand...so cute until Sam pulled Max down to the floor and Max bonked his head...
Sam REALLY REALLY liked to climb in the little shell!
Sam was a very good listener all day. I was so proud! Even when Max discovered the boat first and Sam REALLY REALLY wanted to drive, when asked, he sat back and was Max's passenger :)
