May 28th, Grampy's Garden



Sam and Grampy Gill weren't long getting into the garden. Sam was quite concerned that all Grampy's plants fell down last year and, try as I might, I couldn't convince him that it's all part of the natural harvesting cycle...anyway, he was a motivated helper :)
A video summary is at the end of the pictures. Grampy Gill and Sam planted 4 tomatoes and 2 cauliflower plants. Sam dug a hole, put in fertilizer, then lime, covered up the chemicals with dirt then watered them, then Grampy held the plant and Sam bulldozed some dirt around the plant then watered it. When he was all done and had used all the water, Sam, with Mommy's help, used the garden hoze to fill up the watering can again...
