We visited Uncle Mike's apple farm for a tour of what he's been up to this summer. We got a great lesson on grafting trees to make new varieties of apples...the white flowers are apple blossums!
The small branches that Mike is talking about here are the shutes used in grafting. The next biggest are new apple trees and the ones bigger still are a few years older...
