November 17th, It's Christmas in Riverside!

The storefronts are decorated so well...
We hopped in our rental car and headed for a little trip to explore...and to take pictures :)
I did the picture taking, Sam did the exploring, Adam was a good sport :)

The Mission Inn is all decked out for the holiday season (I won't say Christmas since I didn't see any manger scenes)... It's not everyday when you see a Canadian flag displayed (except the 2 in our apartment!)...
Some celebratoring Mexican figures...

a miniture train and toy soldier (the decorations around the Inn were just amazing!)...

From varius balconies were people dressed in 'traditional garb'...here's Canada's...I think he's a cowboy, although Adam thinks he looked more like Micheal Jackson...
a cool archway...
Riverside is the home of the naval orange
Question: How do you construct an outdoor ice skating rink in an area where the ground doesn't even freeze?
Answer: Very carefully!
the Chinese Pavillion...
a flower and cactus...
I think this is my fav pic of the day...
