The wedding was fantastic! Nancy worked sooooo hard this past year making every detail so special. Everything was hand made when it came to the decorations (you should take a look at her wedding site if you haven't already...http://scottandnancywedding.blogspot.com/index.html). But at the end of the day, what really counted was that Scott and Nancy are married! Next, I'd judge the huge success of the day by the amount of tears of joy at their ceremony (I've never cried so hard at a wedding!) and the amount of laughter at their reception.
And the photos you might be asking yourself...yes, they are important. I had the awesome opportunity to take some at the bride's request using her (brand new!) Nikon D80 (so sweet!). Obviously I didn't take the pictures of the ceremony or the procession...I scammed them from Nancy's facebook album...I think her brother, Pat, took them, but I'm not totally sure...anyway, I won't take credit for them :)
Ahhh, the dress...
Such beautiful detail...
And the lovely bride, ready to meet her groom!
Look at the blue, how it pops!
During the ceremony...
During the ceremony, Scott's eyes didn't leave Nancy (except to look at his son, sitting in the first row)...
They did a lovely sand ceremony, to symbolize how their lives are now mixed and cannot be separated...
And, of course, the kiss...
The new Mr. and Mrs. Flockton!
Greated with bubbles and clapping...
I love this picture!
