October 10th, Our last day in Winnipeg...

We went to the children's museum before hitting the airport. The boys had a great time and Nancy and I did as well chasing them around and learning a little about Winnipeg and Manitoba along the way :)

The Lego exhibit was amazing!
Yup, these are lego!
Here I come, head first!
It's a race to the top...
This was a tree treehouse...complete with beaver dam (which Sam is sitting in)...
Here's a front plow (ok, I don't know what it is really called, but it was fun!)...
An old VW...

Owen's turn working the plow-type machine...
This was part of the natural gas exhibit (including a scratch 'n' sniff natural gas sticker...that's the big nose below)...the big concrete ring is the actual size of a natural gas duct! There was an actual train that the boys toured. We bribed them with a plastic veggie snack while we took pictures...

This is my fav pic of the boys... Don't they look like their having fun???
So, this was a ramp up into the train. Sam was running down it, fell, then decided to crawl down backwards! Once he decided that he was going too slow, he went back to running :) And running...
Owen ran too...

This was cool...there was an infrared camera that created a body shadow that moved as you danced around...look closely and you'll see Sam and me...
Wow! That was fun...I wonder what is next??? (Next sadly was the plane trip home...) It rained pretty much the whole time we were in Winnipeg, expect when it mattered on Nancy and Scott's wedding day...but Sam didn't understand why he couldn't play outside...
