August 7th, Sleep more important than Science !?!

Well, in the search of narrowing down the variables needed for a good night's sleep (for all of us), we gave Sam some Motrin (lasts 8 hours compared to Tylenol's 4 hours) and let him play a bit longer after feeding him before bed time...the result: 8.5 hours of uninterupted sleep! I was so happy (once we checked to make sure he was still breathing !)...I finally got to add the "sleeps through the night" sticker to Sam's First Year calender :)

We also added the "walking" sticker since Sam gets around the apartment on two feet with minimal falling.

Today was Sam's one year check-up and immunizations. He is a whooping 20 lb 14 oz. and 30.5 inches long. Poor little love had FIVE needles!
Adam and I watched Super Nanny last night where the kids were scared to finger paint becuase their mom was a clean freak who'd trained them too well. Sam at supper tonight let us know in his own way that he has no similar issues:

Motrin is great! Owen needed some for the past couple days because of this tooth and was running a fever. Scott's aunt recommended the stuff to me as she runs a daycare so I'm glad it's working for you too!
