August 14th, We're going to the zoo, zoo, zoo...

Last night I told Sam about our plans for today...the ZOO!!! All day and night and day, I've had the Raffi (?) song in my head (Jan, you'll know the artist :) )...we're going to the zoo, zoo, zoo; how about you, you , you...

Sam was just looking so cute...I had to take some pics with his new fav ball and his super sweet outfit... Sam has been in a great mood all week. I think just being calm all day and doing what he wants (while keeping to the "schedule" we've figured out for him) is doing him good (as opposed to the last 2 weeks with the party preparing and moms club hosting)
We went to the San Diego Zoo with some friends today. Although it sucks being so far from home and missing our family and friends, it is nice to be able to go see such cool things like the zoo :)

We tried all day to get a pic of the 2 little boys...this was the best that I could do!
Sam really liked the giraffes...he kept pointing and saying something that I couldn't quite catch :)

Sam loved the koalas...maybe because they look a little like his bear...

After a long, but good, day, the boys took advantage of the long drive home (gotta love rush hour in SoCal!)
