To have a formally anounced heat wave in SoCal is not an experience to be envied. Yesterday's high in our backyard( so to speak) was 45 C...YUCK!!! Yesterday at 10am, the 5 sec walk to the laundry room was aweful...I actually had sweat beads on my face...sweat never collects here if you're outside because it is so dry. Today's high was a bit lower...44 C, still hot and gross. Tonight at 8pm I walked to our work-out room and it was like walking through a sauna. Gross!
We went out this morning (grocery store with Bonnie) and this afternoon Sam had two good rounds splashing in the kitchen...and for dessert: chocolate pudding! This sweet boy LOVES chocolate! Is it wrong to coat chicken in chocolate to get your kid to eat it??? We're not that desprite yet, but close :)
