April 3rd, Care from Home

In honor of Easter, we got a couple of packages in the mail from our moms...today we opened the one from my mom (at her request)...all except the Easter cards, of course :-) Here are a couple pictures featuring Sam's new toys...

Sam decided to wake up nice and refreshed at 12:30am last night and as I watched him roll around on the living room floor (until 3:30! uh!), I recalled the last round of "care" packages my mom blessed us with...when I was around 3 months pregnant, my (awesome) mom cooked and froze a bunch of meals (tasty delights like lasanga, meat balls, chicken pot pie and more)...all I had to do was heat them up! It made me think that when Sam has children, I want to be so wise as to do the same...only a mom would think of meeting that need :-)

Oh, I booked my flight home tonight...I arrive May 9th and leave May 30th...so far my itinerary is open, so let me know if you'd like to get together :-)
