March 6th, Park Day and MNI!

I don't think that I've ever talked about how cool the playgrounds are here. Most have cushion floor instead of woodchips or sand. It's fantastic!

It's hitting me that I have few pictures of me and MY friends (with or without our kids)...honestly, most mornings we just roll out of bed, throw on sweats and walk, so...not exactly the best time to turn the camera on ourselves, but playdates and MNI/MNO (see the end of this post)...

Me and Rachon and our kiddos with their trail mix (everyone brought a little something to make the mix)... Gratuitous Sam and Max shots...I tried to get some of Sam and Xander, but their 'growl like a dinosaur' game had them chasing and running instead of sitting nice and still...okay, I know now that I should have just got what I could or atleast a video! This is a rolly barrel that Sam watched some big kids use with wide eyes... The big kids made it look much easier :) A super fast slide, as you can tell from Sam's expression! Sam's been able to climb the rock wall for a few months now without help... So, I'm chatting away and I hear, "I did it! I did it!" and I think, "oh boy, what did Sam do now? Hmmm, it sounds quite proud..." and I look over and he's hanging from the toddler monkey bars! Fortunately, he was up for a few more tries so I could capture the moments that I knew would make Daddy so very proud!

Last weekend, we had a Moms Night In (MNI) at Amber's house. Lots of friends, easy conversation, tons of snacks, and a little kareokee made for another great night!
