Adam's Aunt Tami came for the week, so we headed for a visit to SJ today. We tried to prepare Sam (like we always do) to see Nannie, Grampy, Jessie and to meet Aunt Tami. We really emphasized the 'Aunt' part because we didn't want him to think that he was going to see 'friend' Tami. Anyway, I think he knew that it wasn't friend Tami at the time, but having the same name as his best adult friend sure did help him warm up to Aunt Tami quickly! Plus it meant lots and lots of hugs and kisses good-bye :)
(When we arrived at Nannie's house today-April 2nd-he did search the house for Tami!)

It was soooo great to see you guys...what a bonus for my trip east. My head knows that sweet little Sam was confusing me with his friend Tami.....but I must say I did reap the benefits when I got those extra hugs......hope friend Tami doesn't mind that I have borrowed a couple of her hugs.They were very much appreciated and cherished.
