Apartment hunting

I've lost all track of time, so please forgive my lack of dates on the next couple of entries :-)

We went apartment hunting with help from J (our Canuck friend, who has a car) last Friday morning. We saw lots of nice places and settled on the one that caught my eye when I found it online last year. We spent the weekend in the hotel/residence while our paperwork was approved. The view from our room was incredible and I took a couple of early morning shots:

The grocery store here is quite interesting. What you see in not always what you get (like I almost bought "enriched" brown rice because the word "enriched" was printed so small). Here's a couple of labels of items I did buy...(beet sugar...really?!?)
