This was a big weekend for my family back home...
There was a BIG family gathering at the Wirral hall yesterday for my Uncle Glen's 50th birthday! I love my family :-) My Aunt Elizabeth shared in the spotlight, since her birthday was just the day before.

And Glen's daughter, my cousin Diana, arranged from out west for her friend to come as a pink bunny to deliver a singing telegram. How cool is that. Diana has been in Alberta for about 3 years now and is hopefully coming home this summer for her first trip back home. Anyway, the bunny was a hit (the kids especially loved it and Glen was so moved that Diana would arrange something so cool)...and off popped the bunny's hood and IT WAS DIANA! There wasn't a dry eye in the house! No one, except the friend that picked her up at the airport, new she was coming!
Brendan spent the night at my mom's (Nana'a house)...and with the warm weather, above freezing, they played outdoors...
And now for the bad news...my cousin, Evertt, died suddenly last night of a heart attack. He was in his forty's and leaves behind his wife Donna and teenaged children, Kaleigh and Jake. All of those prayer warriors out there, please pray for his family, including his mom and dad, Joy and Richard and brother and sister (they were extremely close).
