December 22, Farewell Nova Scotia!

It's been one week since we left our home of 3 years. Remembering back so many years ago, Adam and I are amazed at all that has changed in our lives. The highlights: my first apartment, Adam moving out of his Wellington St place, meeting the Maxxam girls and taking air samples on a Navy sub, getting a job in my field at SemEquip and meeting Sonja and Kevin, getting engaged then married, first apartment with Adam, being pregnant at the same time as Sonja while watching Jan's baby grow, seeing Adam defend his thesis and celebrating with friends over babies births and weddings galore.

Last Friday night I stayed up thinking of all of the things I wanted to say about each of you that I've counted so dearly as my HRM friends. One week later, slightly more rested and (slightly) less of an emotional reck, I've decided that I'm not going to bare my soul and tell the world what each of you have meant individually to me...I've only moved, not died afterall. Instead, I'll cherish our times together and plan for our next visit in the spring and wish you all the merriest of Christmases.

It's always the hardest part of moving, leaving your friends behind that feel like family. I know how you feel!
